Head of Legal
Job Description
Developing and executing the organization's legal strategy to be aligned with the overall business objectives.
Providing and offering legal advise and guidance to senior management and executives on a wide range of legal matters.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards to the company's operations.
Establishing and implementing policies and procedures to manage legal and regulatory risks effectively.
Overseeing the negotiation, drafting, reviewing and execution of various contracts, agreement and legal documents and ensuring that contractual terms are aligned with the company's interests, in order to minimise potential legal liabilities.
If required, protecting the organisation's intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
Providing guidance on company governance matters including compliance with company governance standards and shareholders relations.
Participating in due diligence when required, or other strategic transactions.
Qualifications
University degree in law from reputable university.
Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in legal practice, with strong knowledge of company law, and commercial law, due diligence.
Ability to manage stakeholders
High ethical standards and integrity.
Ability to manage diverse users from commercial, manufacturing, support, R&D Team.
Strong communication in both Bahasa and English.
Ability to think strategically in solving complex legal issues.
Ability to work in a very lean team, but has the right skill to manage diverse stakeholders.
